- Diamond Blaze Cauldron (CM# 258936)
- A chunk of colored glass is picked up on a blow pipe and heated in the furnace. A gather of clear glass is applied over the colored glass from the furnace crucible.
A discreet selection of granulated colored glass is layed out on a steel marver in a pre-determined pattern using a sand painting technique.
The gather of hot glass is then rolled through the colored glass which transfers the pattern to the molten glass.
All these applications of colored and clear glass are then blown into the image of an idling furnace of boiling yellow and orange flames. The design is then finished in our Cauldron vase styling.
This combination of color and techniques is one of our most popular and has been incorporated into several other equally popular designs.
